These things will go through propane tanks like water.

11,000 BTU in a circular fashion is very limited output being non directional. There are these metal sheets that clip on to it to help directional heating for 1 or 2 people. It's more efficient and warmer.

You might not need this exact one, but the idea is smart. Before i put one on my large unit it was in the center of my deck, taking up space and the layout wasn't great. But then I put one on my 48,000 btu unit, put in the corner and the whole deck now gets some warmth and it's out of the way!

Worth a shot maybe?

Tempting for camping in certain circumstances. I'd add an adapter line to use a Blue Rhino sized tank.

Not tempting however because I payed the same amount for a full-sized patio heater that already runs off the regular Blue Rhino sized tank.(Which I get refilled because you get more gas for fewer dollars.)

My full sized version, like you run across outside ski-resort restaurants are pretty impressive, so I'd love to try one of these, but not for the same price as the big ones (on sale.)

Just a quick question and bare with me I've never filled the camping 16oz tanks from a large tank.

How do you know when the small tank is full? How do you use this part in the link safely without any escaping from the bottle being filled? Thank you.

I wonder who ban things more... France or California.
I live in California and these are everywhere. Not likely to be banned anytime soon, though businesses with outdoor seating get extra tax incentives to heat with infrared heaters hooked up to a solar battery array.
