Note this is a 10/11 gen mobo, and if you want 12th gen, it wont work.
Pass for me. Z590 mobo is 11th Gen intel. For price-performance value, the i5 12400 is the sweet spot. Needs a z6xx mobo that supports ddr4 to be hot. A z690 would give you a solid upgrade path.
Don't get hung up on the 12th gen Techtooober hype.

Case, mobo, decent card and a psu that leaves enough room to upgrade down the line if desired. Not bad at all repped.

Looking forward to that $1k build. That's about my budget and I missed that ABS deal last week

This case is pretty small and just ok. I got a prebuilt with this case and then moved everything into a new case immediately after receiving it. Airflow in mine was poor but honestly it had poor fans installed so not sure who to blame.

Even more if you're not willing to upgrade to windows 11, which you need to be on to get the full benefits of 12th gen.
W10E LTSC 1809 Master Race. 9900K is still faster than a i5-12400 and more than enough for any 4K gaming.
