I used rubberized washers and loctite glue. Like that I wouldn't have to do it so often.

Bought this frame the last time it went on sale. The metal tube framing is thin, resulting in a lot of swaying and creaking. Would not recommend.

I remember rolling off the top bunk and landing on the bottom in my sleep many times. Luckily the person on the bottom didn't sleep near the edge.

An important thing to remember is that you should tighten the nuts and hardware every month or two because they loosen up on their own.

We bought this deal when it first hit. Happy with the purchase even knowing it's a fairly cheap bed. The double bed mattress support was pretty uncomfortable until we added vertical slats. Since then, the mattress has ample support and is so much more comfortable. Our 6 year old loves it!
