Snagged an open box ASUS 3070 Ti TUF for $630 at my Micro Center tonight and after running a bunch of benches tonight everything is running 57%-72% more with some older stuff over 140% faster than my old RTX 2070 at 1440p, so I'm digging it.

I have seen the 3070 TI be as low as $655 last week but it was only that price for about 30 minutes and it hasn't gotten close sense. I'm going to wait for that 655 or lower. Funny how when this card first came out everyone was saying it was a terrible buy but now it is looking really damn good.

Which location? I actually just happened to return a TUF 3070ti Monday night but it took some time for them to put it on the website. They listed the price at $629.96.

I would be almost tempted to take the 3070 over the 3070Ti as the performance difference is hardly there along with the Ti almost using the same amount of power of the 3080 while having 2gb less of vram and performing more like a 3070. It's the worst ampere in the stack IMHO

This way if prices drop in the next 30 days, you can get a price protection over chat. If you can return the 3080TI FE I would. The FTW3 cooling should be better. Nvidia cheaped out and should've used the 3090 cooler on the 3080Ti as it can barely handle the heat. 12gb of ram enough for most uses makes the 3090 useless unless you're going to be rendering.

None. 3080 Ti FE runs hot, 3080 Ti FTW3 runs hot, 3090 FTW3 runs cooler than 3080 Ti but still runs hot.

A strix will blow all 3 out of the water in terms of cooling. Even at same temp, the Strix will run at lower fan RPM, and that means lower noise.

Source: I have all of the cards on your list.

FWIW both EVGA will run cooler than your FE, but I don't trust EVGA quality. So I'd keep FE if those three are your only options.

my 3080 ti FE doesnt seem bad in cooling, after underclock to 900 mva 1950mhz i get around 68c in stress text. 60-65c gaming with fan reaching around 70%. but again i have a good full tower case, lian li dynamic XL
