I see $68.99 plus $5.99 Shipping in the "Shop" section of the app. I'm a camplus user so don't know of there's a tiny discount with that or not.
EDIT: RTFM and saw that one does need the base

Not my experience at all. The newest generation has amazing *color* night vision. It's incredible what a camera this inexpensive can do.

The issue they had is that the camera did not have enough memory to patch the security hole. So they could either keep it covert, given the limited risk, or they could tell the world about an unfixable problem and multiply the risk.
The only other option was to recall the cameras but I suspect that the cost of a recall could have been fatal to the company.
I'm not justifying their handling of it. Just providing some additional information for context. I think if they could have patched the security hole they would have, so they were stuck between a rock and a hard place with no great options.
I am a Wyze user myself but I'm far from their biggest fan.
I have a v2 wired cam, and I have a timeline on my mobile app with SD card installed. I would imagine the Outdoor v2 works the same way if you have an SD card installed.
I don't have Cam Plus, so my 'events' that get triggered have a 5 min cool down period and are limited to 12 seconds. I believe CamPlus has unlimited length 'event' clips and back to back recordings without the 5 minute gap on any type of camera.
