I ordered these yesterday for $38 using a different code (BIRCHFIELD2), not sure if that one is still valid.
I got these as a replacement for the Rockport Men's Faulkner Trekkers, which completely fell apart after just 1 month. Rockport offers a 1 year warranty on all their products, the catch is that you have to get a replacement of the same shoe (if in stock in your size) or select something else that's the same price you PAID. So if you used a coupon, you can only get something the same price as the amount you paid after the coupon. They no longer had the Faulkners in my size, so I opted for a different replacement. After weeks of back and forth with their customer service via email, trying to find out what I could actually get as a replacement, they offered a credit code for $34.99 off an order. Since the website only allows you to use one coupon code, they offered to price adjust the order with the $34.99 credit, after placing an order with the other coupon. I'm still waiting on that price adjustment (they said they'd do that once the order is confirmed, it's still pending). But in the end I should end up only paying $3 for the replacement, since my $34.99 credit is being applied to the sale price of $37.99.
I do hope the quality of these shoes are better than the Faulkners I originally got. Because going through this warranty replacement BS is a pain.
The ones that last 15 years are the ones that you bought 15 years ago. They don't make them like that anymore.

Rockports are one of those shoe brands you really need to try on. I've had several pairs over the years. And they can either be the most comfortable shoe ever that will last 15 years or the most uncomfortable shoe ever. It's hard to know just by looking at photos

These don't claim to be waterproof, although Rockport has another similar shoe the XCS Spruce Peak Trekker which is supposed to be waterproof. Although they're a bit more expensive at $62.96 (with code CELEBRATE).
I don't think these are waterproof. The waterproof shoes have a little "Hydro-Shield Waterproof" icon in the product description. I'm hoping these are water resistant, at least, since I'm buying them to work on my lawn, but I can't find anything like that in the description.
It looks like the bottom layer of the sole is really thin around the heel, so it'll be fast to wear out and then you'll blow through the soft eva foam of the middle layer in the matter of weeks.
This construction doesn't look like it'll last

I bought a pair 4 years ago, and it's really nice, it'll probably last 15 years, but I had to be very selective, I had to go through 90% of the catalog that they made to find a good one
I've tried multiple Rockport shoes over the last 10 years and find that they've never held up. From casual work shoes that feel apart after a year to moccasins that detached from the sole with only patio to light yard work. With that being said, this price point would be about the max I would pay for Rockport.

I've got a pair of waterproof hiking boots I bought 4 years ago, that would disagree, they did see limited use for the first two years but have been my go to for the last two winters. They still look new. They were quite a bit more expensive than these, probably double, stitched soles etc. Get what you pay for. Cheap shoes of any kind are exactly that
