Looks like a good price if modular is not needed. Any issues with choosing this PSU on the budget?

It's kind of a meh unit, it's not terrible but you wouldn't want to put anything crazy on it but it's well priced. Beats other stuff you'd find normally at this price range.

Ya, not going to win any awards but good price from a reputable company. I would just make sure to check recommended power requirements for whatever build you want, particularly the graphics card. I wouldn't use this with anything above a 3070.

I wouldn't buy this. High quality 750w and above are only a little bit more. or, stay cheap and go down to 430w silver or gold for less than this price.

I have the corsair bronze power supply for over 7 years now and I would recommend paying the extra money to the gold standard. The power supply is fine under normal workload but while heavy load the power supply makes a LOUD whining noise that is utterly annoying. You can get gold power supplies for this price as I did last summer.

650W should be sufficient for all but the most power hungry systems. Personally, I'd prefer to have a modular power supply, but gold efficiency is nice, especially if you are using your computer many hours of the day.

Got their 850 refurb last year for $55. Been working great. But I haven't seen it drop again that low in several months.

This is power supplies trying to keep up with the instantaneous sudden power Demand on Nvidia 3080 s or higher. But I'm sure amd will soon be having this issue on their newer power hungry cards.

Doubt you'll see much of a difference in power usage from bronze to gold in day to day use. Typically most go for gold power supllies because 9 times out of 10 they have better components. I'm sure that most would agree here that they would not hook a $700 GPU up to a $40 PSU. Not worth the gamble.

It's not a good deal if it's A Bronze.
