As a fellow DIY-er - fans and lights are easy to replace - the only hiccup comes from the new device & its mounting specifications. Usually you can swap screws or add washers to help stabilize & tighten the mount to the bracket. But I'm used it living in my 8th house & swapping all the fixtures (I'm 40 btw)

Means it may burn your house down from an electrical fire. Has not been tested by reputable safety agencies to be safe.
How can you tell?
Yep. There's a lot that goes into a proper fixture other than "secure the wires to the bulb socket". Grounding, de-burring, heat transfer, all things that should be verified by UL. You won't find big box stores selling this crap - too much of a liability to them.
I was tempted to buy one until I saw those comments.
