30 feet at 1.5 inches is going to be pretty light and kind of a beginner rope. Since you're folding it in half on your anchor that's only 15 feet or travel on each side. Good deal, but you might outgrow this rope quickly.

I think you completely missed the OPs point and just tried to make this all about yourself.

Marketplace… you can get these on Amazon typically for a similar deal. It's an aftermarket type rope, so don't expect a high end quality

Anyone ever cut one of these up for dog toys? My dog destroys ropes so fast.

I would try to find a manila rope in a longer length if you can. It can do battle rope work, climbing, and makes for some epic grips on pullups or reverse rows. Nylon ropes have pretty awful friction and can't easily be climbed.

how long are you using ropes for? I consider myself in decent shape, pretty solid home gym setup and 1.5" by 30' rope is honestly perfect. Any longer and it would take a bigger garage and it's plenty heavy for 1 minute sets and still feel quite a burn.

What if you wet it to make it heavier?

We used to hit up climbing wall venues for their retired ropes for this exact use. Plus it's kind of nice to have extra climbing ropes around.
