Spent well more than this on crummy thermometers over the years that took longer to get a read and all broke. Very worth the upgrade

I've had 3 Thermapros break. Most recent one is a $6 one from China and works just as quickly as this. We'll see if it lasts.

Buy one from Walmart, once it break buy the same
One and return the old one saying it doesn't work

Love mine. Accidentally dropped it into a pot of boiling water. took me a minute to find something to fish it out with. Still works perfectly. When this one breaks I'll buy another.
