Uh, did anyone say anything about harassment? This is Slickdeals...we get our maximum bang for our buck by not being lazy. If I have the option to save a few bucks by POLITELY asking for an adjustment and it's literally okay by company policy, why wouldn't I try? If not, then no big deal. Worst case scenario, I could've just returned and repurchased them if they were unopened (which isn't the case). Do you work in the register in retail and bemoan doing basic stuff at your job?

Considering now with inflation dictating our daily lives for the worse, why not put that "$5" towards something else too??

I think the point that some people are missing re: the $5 price adjustment is: what's is the value of your time? Is $5 worth 25 or 30 minutes to you?

If you make more than $10/hr or feel like you don't have enough time/energy in your day to complete projects or spend time with family, then maybe reconsider how much time/effort you're putting into a $5 refund.

How are people getting the price listed? Shows as $16.98 for me as well. I'll probably wait to see what the price at Costco is when they lower their price.

If $5 is the difference between going hungry or not, then it's probably a good idea to spend money on cheaper dishwasher packs, or just use soap.
