Does the Venture card which comes with 2 passes to lounges also let authorized users access twice per year as well?

or is it for Primary card holder only?

For Venture card it's Primary only. Venture X has primary and 2 guests. Also unlimited access for Venture X. And also the authorized user can get his own PP and get unlimited access too

Bigger bonuses. Then once it's time to renew, you downgrade to a no annual fee card.

Does it make your credit go down?

Not necessarily, for Venture you have 2 passes, you can use one for yourself and the 2nd on the guest on same visit, yet that would put you out of them both for the year.

"Venture & Spark Miles cardholders receive 2 complimentary visits towards their account per calendar year. These complimentary visits may be used for themselves, their authorized users or account managers, or guests who are traveling with them. Additional visits can be purchased for a discounted rate of $45."

Had the Venture X for a little over a year now and highly recommend it to friends and family.

Received a $300 travel credit last year and this year which were very easy to use. The Capital One Travel site is powered by Hopper if you've ever used this travel site before.

Received 10,000 points a few weeks after my anniversary date (along with the $395 fee).

Card pairs well with the SavorOne and the American Express Gold Card for those looking to create combinations that quickly build up miles / points for transfer to travel partners.

Recently applied for Global Entry renewal and awaiting the TSA charge for the $100 credit. Government is delayed by 6-9 months for reviews and appointments at the moment.

The only real negative I have is the lack of lounges. The Priority Pass lounge network at the airports I frequent is lackluster. The perk that included PP restaurants and spas in our first year of card ownership was nerfed in January of this year which added even more salt to the wound. To be truly competitive with "premium" credit cards that cost above $395 annually, Capital One will need to expand their lounge access.

Chase Sapphire has the better bonus and UR points are generally regarded as being worth more. This deal should still be around.

Neither. Chase Sapphire is way overrated. Checkout Amex.

Planning on doing Everest Base camp trekking and a month long trip to Nepal in next 10-12 months. Very good credit score. Planning on opening 2 cards to get enough points for a free roundtrip flight for 2 (can be economy or higher class with fees around $200). Are there any no annual fee miles credit card you guys recommend?

No AF cards generally have garbage signup bonuses.

Which would you rather have- 20,000 points in rewards with no annual fee, or 90,000 points in rewards with a $95 annual fee?

If I were looking specifically for travel rewards for flights and opening 2 cards I'd be looking first to figure out what airline(s) I wanted-- then figuring out if Chase or Amex made more sense (since they have different, not entirely overlapping, sets of airline partners for transfers).

Then I'd go here:
https://www.doctorofcredit.com/be...n-bonuses/

and consider the 2 largest signup bonuses in the ecosystem I picked.

if EITHER ecosystem would work for you then do Chase first (and business cards first) as it keeps you on the safest side of 5/24 rules if you do future signups.

The problem with Amex for me is that I usually meet my spend quotas by paying insurance bills. My insurance companies don't accept Amex. The only Amex card I carry is a Wells Fargo card and that's just for the included cell phone insurance. My cell phone bill is the only thing I pay for with that card.
