If you get a referral link from someone and use it, you'll get the 75k points that are mentioned in this original offer and the person who's link you used will get points as well. My offer told me I'd get 25k points if someone used my link if I remember correctly.
I just noticed is says "Earn unlimited 2 miles per dollar on every purchase".
If I'm doing the math right, that's 75k+30k signup bonus points plus 8k points for the $4k spend = 113k total points = $1,130 in travel reimbursements. Nice!

I booked a hotel for $200 or something last month and canceled and rebooked to another date with same price, they applied the full $300 credit 2 weeks later.

You don't get anything. However, you don't lose anything either. But for the person who referred you get 25k points.
So, I would recommend using the referral link to open a new account. Also, someone will surely return you a favor.
