I gave a bunch of these away at Christmas and nobody has mentioned they broke theirs. I do know they are easier on my back than a regular snow shovel.

But, they are selling 'refurbished,' so I suppose some have had problems.

I've used this shovel for a few years and had the rivets that fasten the metal blade to the plastic shovel pop-off, which made it harder to scrape down into the cement. Still a good tool and bought one in this deal and will move the old one to deck duty.

A 90-day warranty on a snow shovel. Sold in May! Brilliant.

(Usually those are brand new items, just listed as "refurbished" so the retailer doesn't have to provide the normal warranty. Which probably means a high failure rate on the item that is expensive to replace.)

I bought one of these for $9 at Walmart on end of season clearance. The 2nd handle is much more flimsy than I thought, but I needed a 2nd shovel so well see.
