This seems to be just to get you to buy something through roku pay, because it wouldn't let me checkout with any other method and just kept putting me back to the shopping cart until I used roku pay...

I'm going to use this to upgrade an old "dumb" TV; I'm also going to take this streamer when we travel for use in hotel room/etc . . . if I lose it/break it who cares at this price . . . you're getting a competent HD streamer for a couple bucks when you consider all the included kit (batteries/cables/etc). . .

Nice deal. But it looks like this model doesn't allow 4k or HDR. also, it's a simple remote, so probably no volume control. Still a good deal op!

I've been looking to replace my very old roku that stopped working and just placed my order for this. Dont care its not voice controlled or 4K, using that $20 savings to put in my gas tank! Some quick googling leads me to believe that you can pair these with fancier remotes to get things like volume control and bluetooth connection so you don't need LoS... but I could be wrong.
Picked up one to use on my old 1080p smart tv that supports fewer and fewer apps as time goes on...
