Beware. Lost has the worst ending of any TV series ever....yes...even trumping the GoT ending.
The producers blatantly lied to the audience the whole way through about it having a no-nonsense ending too. I can't recall that happening on any other show ever.
Its easy to write a fascinating beginning and middle of a story when you don't have to come up with an ending for it. That's what this show is...a steaming kettle of BS.
If you like being bullshitted, this ones for you.
My Number 1 favorite series hands down, I must have watched in its entirety about 4 times. At $10/ Season, this is a steal

Legendary show all the way up to the last season and ending. The way the show ended was so bad that no matter how great the rest of the series was I have a hard time recommending it to anyone.
The show also had way to many dangling carrots. For every question they finally answered 3 more would pop up. Many things just never really got answered.
At the very least I tell people to just skip the last season and make up your own ending. It's going to be far more satisfying.

Damon Lindelof is a talented dude. If you have watched Lost or want to give it a try, you should check out his subsequent HBO show too, "The Leftovers".

I started watching this series many years after it first released - got it from the library. It's bizarrely addictive. I could easily watch it again, and I almost never watch a series (or even a movie) twice.

That's part of the show, a feature not a bug. And, I think you are way too harsh on the end - it reminded me of Jacob's ladder (the movie). To each their own I guess.

Yeah I was watching it when it was first being broadcast and I was just getting so pissed off during season 3 that during an episode I just turned off my TV and didn't turn it back on for several years.
It was the episode where Mr Locke went to that house with Ben. And goofy stuff happened.
I just couldn't take it any more.
Lost was my last show and when it was pissing me off that much I didn't care any more.
Recently I got a little curious about it so borrowed season 3 from the library and I'm watching this thing and I don't remember any of it.
Now I'm going to borrow the other seasons.
Yes I have heard about the stupid ending but I do want to see it anyway.
So far seasons 1 and 2 are on BitChute and the uploader has started uploading season 3.

Agreed. Fantastic show for five seasons. Then the last season/ending, so many threads untied, so many elements unexplained or that made no sense- I can't remember another series end that left me so mad.

I actually avoid anything to do with Lindelof because of LOST and its execrable ending. Odd that you're the opposite.
Excellent idea and start to the show but they totally blew it after season 2. I was a big fan first couple of seasons but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this show. Save the disappointment and watch something else.
