If you can find a Milwaukee battery for $10/AH I would consider that a pretty nice find on its own. Although the 6AH (High Output) are much better from a cell architecture standpoint in addition to the 20% increase in amp hours... If we put these batteries at the desired $10/AH... that means you're getting the tool (in my case the $129 Orbital Sander) for $69.

Home Depot's current comparable deal [homedepot.com] is Sander with a 2AH (That's cute) and a 5AH battery with a (non-rapid) charger for $179.

Moral of the story: Good find OP.

FYI: Highest ticket bare tool is the Fuel Surge Impact Driver (MSRP $169).
Interesting. I have about 8 m18 tools and 6 m12 tools. I use the m12 like 95% of the time. Except the vacuum I love that thing

Great price! Last year I bought the surge (only tool) for this price. I can say it is fantastic for home! I sold my M12 Fuel impact after I bought the surge. The only M12 I have now is the Fuel hackzall, but recently I bought 2x6 ah batteries with M18 Fuel hackzall (only hackzall were in stock) for 209$ from Maxtool (not yet received) and I think soon will sell my last M12 tool.

anyone get that jobsite fan? as a DIYer, as I get older, staying cool just sounds great. 5 years ago I thought that was the dumbest gimmick

I've had the fan for 3 or 4 years now and would buy it again. Use it to dry spills, camping, treadmill extra fan, power outages, etc. Not super-quiet, but if you already have batteries it's nice to have.

I have the Milwaukee jobsite fan. It's does a good job of moving air. It has 3 speeds and is light weight. It comes with it's own power supply and you cannot directly plug an extension cord into it. A bit faster air flow and a little smaller than my Dewalt fan.

I use my Dewalt fan the most though. It has variable speed, you can plug an extension cord directly into it, and it has hooks if I want to hang it to something.

I used mine in the attic last week while cleaning the ac coil (in Florida). Just having air blowing at me made it bearable to be up there as long and battery was still half full after 4 hours. 8ah HD battery I believe.
