This headset has the same poor build hinge quality as previous steelseries headsets, with plastic hinges at the ear cups that will eventually break. on Reddit steelseries sub, there are users complaining of other technical issues, many users actually returning their headsets.
I returned mine after 4 days. The earcups were tiny and compressed the top of my ears. Was really uncomfortable. Also sounded super tinny compared to Audeze Mobius and the Beoplay Portal (2022 version). The feature set was awesome, but overall, the sound quality matters thr most, and that wasn't there for me. Audio is very subjective though, so if you like the Wireless Pros, you will like these...

I'm saying this PC version doesn't work with all consoles. Only the Xbox "titled" one works wirelessly with all devices.
I mentioned PC limitations, specifically. Yes, it "works" on all devices, but I don't want people to misunderstand that. I almost bought the xbox version since that was the only one available for a while on the steelseries website.

Based on reviews the bass is notably better, and it has an expanded feature set (of things that might not matter to you, like active noise cancellation).
I checked out a couple YT videos afterwards. Seems like a decent upgrade but still has some minor issues. The one guy I watched really kept mentioning the inner speaker touching his ear which sounded like that could be annoying.

Funny enough, I would probably be more interested in transparency mode than ANC. I can't hear anything around me when I'm wearing them lol.

I'm just trying to help others understand that the Xbox version is the one that works wirelessly and seamlessly across all the devices when you have the DAC connected to a USB port on your consoles+PC. The version that was listed here was not the Xbox version.

Techne probably. Hes great and my go to for such things. I actually have both this and the Audeze Penrose being shipped. I need to compare the 2 and see what makes sense. The Penrose is about 270 new w amazon prime. It has way more potential issues, but all sources say the sound quality is untouchable. Well see.

Good luck to you friend.

The Xbox version works with everything including Xbox.

The one listed here works with everything except Xbox. It'll work perfectly on PS4, PS5 and PC.

So the only reason this headset would be a bad idea is if you own an Xbox.

It was the same situation with the Arctis 7P and 7X

Correct. I was just trying to make sure people knew what they were getting before they realized they got the wrong one.

If someone decides they do not want their pair. Please do not return it. I've been trying to get my hands on a deal for the previous steelseries arctis pro edition for a long time now and have been unable to find a deal.

Instead message me, I will buy these at the same price these came out for you.

Would be highly appreciated and I will be forever thankful.
