Is BBB stable as a company. I know they've been closing stores left and right. I wouldn't sit on their gift cards. Spend it ASAP.
I'd recommend spending in the next few weeks. You never know if they will announce bankrupcy. The stock price is steadily going down to $7 now. It was stable at $15-$20 a month or two ago. Revlon is announcing bankrupcy next week. Just spend it! In my opinion, the business model is very outdated, almost everything they sell you can buy at Amazon or walmart or target.com usually cheaper.
got a $500 gc and have been waiting near an hour for delivery. got another $250 one sent to another email address delivered instantly. anyone know how long I should be waiting?
Thanks OP! Just got this $300 Coravin kit[bedbathandbeyond.com] for $146.48 including tax, stacking the 30% sale, a 20% coupon off a single item, and this 20% off a gift card.
I don't think BBB has filed a 10-K going concern, so I don't think they are at imminent risk of bankruptcy. Still wouldn't hold these for more than a couple month.
I have called and messaged Bed bath and beyond and both have said that the gift card deal can only be used on bed bath and beyonds website. It supposedly cannot be used on BuyBuyBaby. I want to try it, but I am wanting to buy $500 worth of gift cards for a large baby item so it's a rather large risk to take just to test it out.
I tried it and they definitely work at buy buy baby. In any case, bed bath and beyond sells everything buy buy baby does on their website.
Stack this with their 20% off coupons and make your purchase via BuyBuyBaby (seems like shared inventory and identical prices) to get their current deal on myFunds ($25 back on $100 purchase, $50 on $200, $100 on $400, $150 on $600).
I was, hence the reason I asked. This used to be done all the time at GameStop, which is why I asked if it works at BBB. That's how hacks work, by finding a loophole. And believe me, there's definitely very valuable loopholes out there.
Gift cards worked with no issues on the buybuybaby website. There is a limit up to $500 only but my wife and I bought gift cards. Ended up buying a stroller so it showed we would get $150 back as well in rewards since we spent over $600.

Did you get an Uppababy? We're considering doing the same. Trying to Find a coupon to combine discounts with too.

Yep. Wife has been looking at the UPPAbaby Cruz V2 so that's the one we ordered. I did a search from past deals and I think this is probably the best deal. To us, saving $160 for $700 worth of GCs and then getting $150 back to use on a crib(planning to buy when rewards hit the account) was worth it. Basically saved us $310 if you count rewards as money saved.

Thanks. Probably going to do this bright and early tomorrow. Really hoping we can get an addition 15-20% off with a coupon somehow.
