I have 2x50k and 1x35k free night certifies, are there more desirable Marriott properties in Charlotte or Philadelphia to redeem them in?

Any specific hotel suggestions?

Does the free nights works in Hawaii ? Hotels are expensive.
Yes, as long as you find hotels that have availability at or under 50k points/night, or have extra Marriott points to top up the certificates (up to an extra 15k points/night). In January (before Marriott started their transition from fixed award charts to variable pricing) I used 2x 50k certificates for 2 off-peak nights at the Royal Hawaiian on Waikiki.

Are these certificates extendable?
No.

Thanks for sharing details. Repped. I checked this hotel for august and it costs 57k per night. Would be fantastic if 50k since it's over $500 cash price per night. Anyway to earn or buy several 7k points fast?

If you don't have Amex or chase points to transfer you can buy Marriott points.

This seems to still be active fyi.

Also, is there a way to refer friends to this deal while earning referral bonus points? My current referral link only takes to the 3 night bonus offer

It's past midnight PST and I could see Chase display the 5 FN offer still - so it's still going on, for now.

I believe he's asking about what happens after 12 months. Reissue. I have the same question in case of not being able to use the 5 nights the first year.

So worst case this deal is $95 for 5 nights first year + 1 anniversary free night, correct?

This deal is only for 5 FN in the 1st year, issued after completion of sign up bonus task ($5k in 3m). You get charged an upfront AF $95.

Annual Free Night would be credited only from Year 2 onwards, by when you'd have been charged another $95 AF.

Also note that the 5FN sign up bonus are worth 50k points each. While the anniversary 1FN is worth 35k points only.

There must be because the CC blogs are all pushing this offer. But I haven't found a way to refer a friend.

Never used Marriott cards...have always only used Chase/United, Amex/Delta and other variants. Is this a good deal? Can I potentially use this to book a 5 night vacation somewhere (Hawaii?) where the redemption per night is 50-65K points. Sorry, the 3 pages of comments are more questions than answers, trying to get some inputs from users of this or similar Marriott card for perspective before I apply. Thanks!

What I'm gathering: this *specific* promotion, you can book UP to 5 nights, EACH up to 65k points, no more. This assumes you have 75k points in-hand, NOT from this promotion, before booking. No combining cash+points. And Marriot has taken to putting their best locales at 70k and up… intentionally putting them out of reach for promotional redemption without outright saying they are "blackout" locations.

The certificates are 'use them or lose them'. As the terms of the certificates state, if not used within 12 months, they disappear. That's it.

Assuming i signed up last week, If i wait till July 2023 to book my stay, can i be looking at 6 straight nights? 5 from promo plus 1 anniversary night?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw @WatsYourDeal's very clear explanation above.

I received my card recently, but how can I tell the benefit is same as the one I saw and applied (the 5 night after 5000 spent). I can't find any wording or documents in my account nor in the mail with the card I received. Thanks for your help.
