This is a different beast. This is much more powerful and has a dedicated graphics card. It will crush those two in photo/video editing, gaming, and anything else that can take advantage of dedicated graphics.
The two you picked are mainly for office/school use with long battery life.
A 60hz screen, a 3060 Max-Q, and a soldered ram. Despite the good looking discount this still a little overpriced don't you think?
I couldn't say. Sorry. I had a Thinkbook 14p ($900 5900hx 16gb OLED) for a little bit last year and it was very premium feeling. Heavier than my 14" Latitude. Pretty sure the Latitude is plastic though. The Thinkbook seemed to me to be all metal. It was very nice, but I returned it because of the Samsung deal for the Flex2 Alpha. The Samsung was less than half the price ($400 for i7 16gb) with trade in. I chose the Samsung for price mainly.
I just looked it up and this laptop is all aluminum. Should help with hinge durability. I haven't had any issues with my hinges in about 20 years. I always open and close my laptops very gently and don't force them open or open them quickly. Treat them with respect and they (anything you buy) should return the favor.

Does it have the similar build quality as that of the thinkpad L & T series, would like to buy a laptop that could sustain for 4 to 5 yrs of usage. Have an Alienware and a Lenovo Ideapad with broken hinges within 3 years of usage. looking for a sturdy built laptop.

ThinkBook series Laptops are based on Consumer series Laptops with Business functionalities. This Laptop is more or less having similar Build quality of a Legion Slim 7 series. The build quality is very good but it is not as rugged or robust as the ThinkPad series as they go through a lot of durability certifications, even the budget ones.

Do you know that there is no concept of Ma-Q in RTX 3000 series. This is a low powered one. But this is not for gaming. Look elsewhere if you need those gaming specific features.

Hey MaxQ is written in their specs, I didn't make it up. So are you saying it is not overpriced if it's not for gaming? Is it a joke?
I will be using it mainly for work, photoshop, and some gaming.
For even casual gaming this will destroy the integrated graphics in the E15. Photoshop may be able to take advantage of the GPU to accelerate some workloads as well.

So this Thinkbook deal would be better? I read online that integrated graphics would suffice for casual gaming and Photoshop.
