Hart is also made by TTI so basically Walmart's Ryobi. This is part of their summer blowout sale. Fogger (more like long range fine mister) is good for treating for mosquitoes. Includes 2Ah battery and charger.

Bifenthrin - active ingredient

* Talstar P
* bifen i/t

Check Amazon for

7.9% Bifenthrin Concentrate for Insect Control, 8-ounce

Same Bifenthrin percent , $15 for 8 oz concentrate . I haven't used this or looked in to the mixing ratio. I use bifen I/t. Just throwing this option out there
According to the world health organization, fogging is not harmful to humans and is effective in killing adult mosquitoes. https://www.who.int/westernpacifi...%20machine.
Please research the actual ineffectiveness of mosquito fogging and its devastating effect on fauna as well as poisoning your own family.

MGK Riptide is the ULV fogging liquid I use with the Ryobi version of this tool. After several applications early this summer my lawn has been tick free. Prior to spraying we had about 10 ticks on us over 2 weekends of light yard work.

I use Talstar P to spray (pump up sprayer, not fogger) my foundation and perimeter for carpenter ants. It annihilates EVERYTHING for at least a few months, there won't be so much as a cricket hopping around. One spray seems to last all year.

Would this work on my yard to reduce the tick population and if so does anyone know what product is best for ticks?

Not sure what "all natural" is supposed to mean in terms of safety. Arsenic, strychnine, berries, mushrooms and nightshade are "all natural" and can kill you in various timeframes and comfort levels. Plenty of other all natural things that you want to avoid, too. When will people start to realize that "chemical" is a loose term that can describe all sorts of good and bad things and that "all natural" basically carries the same safety guaranty? Make sure you understand how much dihydrogen monoxide your body can handle or you could have problems.

They were probably asking for options that have lower toxicity profiles. And to whom depends as well. Some can be safer for humans and pets but still harm pollinators and aquatic animals. Just depends on their needs and land setup. Cedar wood oil and the cinnamon/eucalyptus blend (tends to have a couple other ones with it) would probably be a helpful response to someone asking for a natural option. Mosquito bits are also great, but only effective if standing water is the problem.

Intentionally misconstruing someone's question doesn't make them wrong for asking it. And it doesn't solve the problem, which is how to create a better risk/benefit ratio through different choices.

I would use pellets for ticks. They have to be watered in.

What kind of pellets & do they really work?
I was looking for a good reason to keep this fogger after realizing the charger didn't come with it.

Works well. Doesn't kill immediately, but seems to have a long acting effect. Follow the dosing on the bottle for 1gallon sprayer.

Now I'm totally lost on what chemical to use for mosquito and tick. I love bees and butterflies, but I have to keep the m and t out of mt lawn and house. Any low toxic but effective suggestion?

Update : I bought two of these . One for myself and one as a gift .

Opened first and tried to use it with bifen I/t .. it would not spray unless I was vigorously shaking the machine. And when it did it was half stream half mix. I went through a fully charged battery and only used about %10 of the half gallon tank. Grabbed my second battery and struggled through the rest of the tank . I ended up turning it upside down and just shooting streams up a climbing vine .

Perplexed I grabbed the second one meant as a gift filled it with water and it seemed to work great continuous mist without having to shake the tool back and forth.

So I mix up another batch of bifen and mix as well as possible since bifen is a little thick .. add to the machine and start to spray . Same shit as the first. Would not mist.. if this thing can't handle 1/2 oz of bifen per half gallon of water it's useless .

Both of these will be returned .. I'll be going back to my backpack sprayer for now .

Interesting, I tried Talstar P 1/2 ounce for the half gallon tank and it produced a very fine mist with about 10 ft effectiveness and I fogged 2 of the half gallon tanks on the single battery (not knowing how much power is left since there is no led indicator). Not truly a fogger but it did a fine job.

I haven't used that .. is it slightly thick consistency ? Or just like water ?
