I happen to have a 21mm I bought specifically for that purpose.. but how in the crap was this overlooked?

As far as Taiwan made GearWrench or Chinese made Milwaukee.... and besides the extra socket with GW, it is a personal preference. The Gearwrench is laser etched and the Milwaukee is stamped and painted. Now, if Milwaukee used red and blue, instead of all red to mark SAE and Metric like Kobalt does, that would be cool. What would be nice with all of them is to have a compartment inside the case to store a couple more items. I like both sets because they don't skip any sizes in the middle, but the GW was cheaper.
What's a good impact to use the gearwrench set? Mainly for lug nuts and brake jobs?
3/8" is for smaller stuff. Not lugs and rusty brake parts.
I like the high vis markings on these but not enough to have a duplicate set in shop lol.
I have the Husky set. The markings are worth the upgrade imo

Direct tool outlet sometimes runs sales for holidays on their blemished or refurbed. They have a 3/8" rigid impact wrench with battery and case. I got it for 75+ tax+ shipping during the Father's Day sale (90ish total).
The blemished rigid tools and batteries can still apply for rigid's lifetime warranty.
That would be my vote on what to use with the 3/8" gear wrench socket kit.
I plan to put the 3/8 impact along with the rigid inflator in the trunk. I have the 1/2" but wanted to have something more compact for the car. The 1/2" will stay in the tool box for garage use.
