Highly recommend Sam's Sourdough Waffles (you can find it on AllRecipes) on this machine.
You don't need one that makes 2 at a time, these things are pretty fast just get the single waffle maker. Having one on top and bottom means it's just harder to clean up after you're done and at $89 it's hardly a good deal. Also the biggest problem with these waffle makers is that the teflon coating starts peeling off after a few years of use. Many people don't even notice it peeling off and ends up eating the chemicals with their waffles. The better waffle makers have ceramic coating instead of teflon which is supposed to be harder and more resistance to wear.
