I'd take 12th gen i7 but with 32gb ram. Not available in this model. Other models with 32gb are unjustifiably expensive i don't need 2 in 1 but slim and light 14" would be perfect for my needs but 32gb for future in case if i want to connect egpu enclosure and game or do something gpu intensive.

How's that ram going to help your egpu? The only thing that's going to help that egpu is the gpu you use.
In my opinion, right now this device with 11th Gen Quad Core CPU does not make any sense when far more powerful 12th Gen models of this laptop now available and they're not that costlier as well. The model with 2.8K OLED display was posted couple of days back with i7-1260p and was around $150 more but the performance you'll get, does justify it.

He just made that up. He is here for almost 3 years for buying his dream machine and posts those weird logics whenever a new gen cpu launched from Intel and AMD for justifying why he isn't getting this device. In this case, I'm sure he got confused between eGPU and iGPU. He probably heard in these forums about integrated GPU can use up to 4gb of system ram and confused that with external GPU.
I've got a M1 256mb 8gig MacBook Air and a 2017 12.9 iPad Pro. I was thinking of getting a newer tablet, as well as switching out the M1 air for a M2 air. Do you think I can instead "kill two birds with one stone" by buying this machine as well? I'd like a laptop and a big tablet for taking notes and reading music scores. Can anyone give me some feedback as to how getting this deal would compare with me upgrading to an m2 air and buying a new tablet? Thanks
If you do end up getting this, pick up the extended warranty. Every yoga I've had developed a touchscreen or hinge cable issue eventually. One time it was due to Lenovo's crappy touchscreen firmware update that crashed while flashing and killed the controller. Being just out of warranty, they told me to take a hike. The other issue was a bad driver update that killed the screen and required a ton of effort to resolve.
Also, turn off auto updates on the Lenovo vantage or whatever software. Otherwise it'll happen to you as well.

Never happened to me on any of my Yogas. Had them for years...both still run fine. I have Vantage updates on also.

This happened to me, my yoga now only works in an awkward yoga pose where the keyboard faces the table and I have another wireless keyboard to type. Otherwise it'll crash every 10-20 minutes.

Don't some games list 16gb ram as recommended? soon it will become minimum requirement.
