These are similarly priced to the Patriot P210 line deals posted from B&H, but the Burst Elite line is faster, with an included cache and higher transfer speeds.

Reviews on these are a little inconsistent. Seems like there's not great quality control here, and you may or may not get one with a DRAM cache. But for $17 with a 3 year warranty.....I'm okay with that. In for 2, thanks OP!
Didn't bother to check each one, but considering the price point and this drive's insignificant 32MB of cache, it might as well not have any at all since it doesn't make any performance improvement or improves longevity.

It's sold by "Highly Anticipated Electronics", via the Amazon marketplace. They look to be a genuine business with many great reviews.

Looks like there are a ton of 240GB drives go for $23-25. This doesn't look like a deal.

Would adding one of these to a laptop which already has a (nearly full) WD Black NVMe SSD, be much faster as a storage drive than a mechanical drive that I already own? I need more storage on my laptop but I don't want to create a bottleneck with the storage drive. I was under the impression that speed isn't all that important for the secondary (storage) drive as long as you use something fast for your boot drive. Would I need to put my apps on the boot drive as well, and use the secondary drive to store media and files?

All your Apps/OS should be on the nvme and you data (pictures music videos etc) should be on your secondary. If you have a HDD I would upgrade to an SSD you will notice speed improvements.

Was shopping Patriot SSD's yesterday. Found these on Amazon for same price but larger storage capacity. Also appears to have better read/write speeds?
