That's not any accurate site for these kind of tech information. You can just search by the exact model number. Anyway, here is the Amazon Link and you'll see that it is clearly mentioned. That is true for almost all the Aspire 5 Laptops released till 2021, one soldered 4GB or 8GB DDR4 and one user accessible slot.

Though the single thread rating of 1961 is significantly lower than many 2 core CPUs, and STR can be the more important rating for what this type of laptop is used for.

I'm looking for a decent school laptop for
my daughter who is starting college. Currently she only has a chrome book and an iPad Air. Would this be good for regular school stuff? Turning in and checking assignments and things? She wouldn't use it for art or design or anything like that.

I paid $350 for this a while back. It does collect dust as my wife doesn't like the size of a regular laptop.

Runs well. I bought a 2GB DDR4 module with it just to have dual channel and a smidge more ram. Since that's cheap now I'd probably add an 8GB module now.

Upgraded to Windows 11 from 10 without issues.
