FYI for anyone who has a current wells fargo credit card - for most of their older cards you can do a product change over to this card instead. I just did this so I can move away from my old 1% cash back card to upgrade to this. You don't get the sign up bonus but all of your credit limit, age of account and all transfers over with it.

Here's my plan. My local utilities allow extra payment. 500 to electricity, 500 to water, 500 to etc and set up the CC to pay monthly to finish before APR is up and free 300 dollars
in fact i've got medical bills anyway

Not everyone always pays the balance but minimum. One will not earn additional 1% on Citi Double. However, the Wells Fargo active cash card simply earns 2% for everything. It is better than Citi Double!
Wells Fargo is known to screw customers. I realize not everyone pays their balance off monthly but for me, the Citi card is fine. Discover is really the best consistent card but it's also not good to switch or open more than you need.
Hi Everyone. I just applied for the Chase ink Business Cash and got approved but I would like to get another CC for another big purchase. Say 1500-2000USD.
Is the US BANK Altitude Connect Visa Signature the next best thing at spend $2000, get $500 cashback? I understand the US Bank one has a 95 annual fee but I plan to downgrade before that happens.
If you guys have other suggestions, please let me know.
My initial plan was to go for this Wells Fargo one but seems I could get more cash back elsewhere. (Not really looking for miles stuff unless I could still end up doing something ala jumping loops to get more out of a miles card) Again, planning a $2k spending in the next 3 months.

I did exact same as in got the Chase ink business and then got the US Bank altitude.

"Sign up bonus' = That means you can not get 300$ rewards
I applied for the card, got instant approval and received the card in 2.5 weeks.
I charged a $4600 Disney World trip on it and then got around 43,000 points within four weeks I'd say.
I now have $425 to apply to my account.
Funny thing was that I had already charged (prepaid) the DW trip to another card, but I called DW and they switched payment to the Wells Fargo card for me since I had not completed the trip yet. I didn't even know that they could do that until I read about it on mouse-savers.
If you have setup online account there is rewards tracker which showed 97 days after approval.
Sorry if this was already answered, but where do I find this tracker? I signed up today, was approved a now setup online account and downloaded the Wells Fargo app but I can't find this info anywhere or info about the bonus points for that matter…??? This my first and only WF cared it card

Wells Fargo is by far the worst big bank around. Why give them business when they've continuously screwed customers over the years? Also, for me the best deal is Citi's 1% now and 1% when you pay. No categories or limits. I've been paying the balance each month for thirty years now. If I can't pay it off, I wait until I can.
well thats even all the more reason to do this deal by taking $300 from them and then bouncing
I have this card, but I hate using it. They make it really annoying to cash out rewards. Everything has to be in $25 increments. Once I reach the next one, I'm never using this card again.
I have the Active Cash card and was bothered by this as well. I decided to use it as the payment method for an eBay purchase through PayPal and PayPal gave me the option to pay with my $13 in rewards after I selected the card. Not as great as cash back but I was going to buy the small items anyway so it worked out for me.
