Heads up this thing is super small, I can't fit a 5D Mark IV anymore in the 250 line coming from a 202. They made this for a mirrorless or companct. The "Fastpack" 250 fit my 5D. I put my Mavic in this one.

Thanks OP!

The OG Lowepro 100AW sling bag is one of my favorite bags. It is now 12yrs old, but no rips or tear. Love quick access. I don't use DSLR as often as I used, and I sometimes use the bag as city day pack for its easy to organize various items and access. I'm upgrading my 100AW to this one. nice finding OP!

Good to know. I was pretty interested because I need a smaller backpack than the one I've got, but I need to at least fit a mirrorless with a 70-200 and this is not the backpack for the job.

Love Lowepro, I just wish I had more "middle" options, seems a lot of their backpacks are either too small or like "bring literally every lens you have" large.

This looks great for a city dweller like me who only carries a small 1 lens kit + lightweight tripod at a time.

I own the original line myself.

How have they evolved since then?

This is a "sling" which means it has 1 backpack strap on your right shoulder that goes across your chest and connects to your left hip. There seems to be an additional secondary strap that connects from your right hip to the primary strap, if you want more stability.

See the 1st photo on the official lowepro site

On another note, I feel this bag might be just small enough to be considered a personal item on flights. Lowepro site states external dimensions are 44cm x 25cm x 16cm.
  • Delta's site [delta.com] states "1 personal item free of charge (such as a purse, laptop bag or item of similar size that will fit underneath the seat in front of you)"
  • Travelpro site [travelpro.com]states: "Delta underseat dimensions are 20 inches X 15 inches X 11 inches (55 cm X 38 cm X 28 cm) on most aircraft. To ensure your personal item fits these dimensions, choose an item that is 17 inches X 13 inches X 9 inches (43 cm X 33 cm X 23 cm) or smaller."

Their flipside 200 is made for a camera and a 70-200: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...aw_ii.html
