I was about to flip out because I'd literally JUSTpaid for a few items about an hour ago, but silly me of course I don't qualify for this offer - haven't gotten one in almost a year
LOL at eBay still doing only targeted promotions in this economic environment. Go big or go home.
Ebay, like so many other retailing companies these days, is retracting things and very clearly looking at their bottom line only
Best Buy, IMO, has done similar things with their reward program and their return policy

I didn't qualify either. I used to spend a few thousand a year on ebay and now I'd be shocked if I spent $100 a year. I know I'm just a drop in the bucket but I suspect there are many others like me and all those little drops add up.
There are sellers on both eBay and Amazon selling the exact same items and more often than not the eBay listing is 25% more or higher than the Amazon listing... wtf and if both are ripoffs time to use aliexpress/alibaba
It was in my messages like clockwork. Ordering a couple things to keep them coming.
It is good on most eBay items like usual. Here is copied T&C.

I think this is only for camping gear but YMMV is YMMV
I thought the same because their messaging is very confusing, but that's not true. I just tested it on a few non-camping items and it's showing 5% back at checkout.
For those that have not seen any promotions in a while, hang in there! I was in the same boat... I always got them for years, then went about 18 months with nothing. Now finally getting them again every promo. It's not much, but it's enough to make a difference for me (covers sales tax anyway).

You've activated the eBay Bucks bonus offer.

However nothing to buy, everything is marked up and taxed now
For example: Was looking for pool filter cartridges, amazon is $136.32 after 5% s/s, cheapest on ebay is $155 for same exact item
