Im a little surprised how many people dislike spam. Growing up with Vietnamese immigrant parents in the US, they occasionally incorporated spam in their cooking and it was always delicious. They would stir fry with fried tofu, green onions, onions, garlic and tomatoes then add tomato and fish sauce and serve with rice. Or they would stir fry it with fried tofu, Vietnamese pork ham (which has very little salt), and lots of minced garlic and serve with rice or rice soup. Sometimes on weekends they will slice it and pan fry it with sun side eggs and serve with toast.

Now as an adult I will sometimes dice spam and make breakfast tacos with it. Or I will use it to make Musubi. Anyone who has tried musubi and can tell me they don't like it is a liar, haha jk

Yes it has a lot of fat and sodium but its not that bad if you are incorporating it in a dish. I hope people who hate it aren't straight up biting into it like an apple. Most things in excess is bad.

I bet anyone who dislikes spam will lose their minds if they hear about chorizo
The reduced sodium one is healthier but just doesn't taste as good as the original. You are eating spam already, might as well go all out.

Ways to eat it:
Slice it, pan fry until the sides are crispy, goes great with a runny fried egg in a sandwich

Pan fry it with some sugar and tiny bit of soy sauce, eat it with rice and seaweed, kinda like a spam musubi

Buy spicy tofu soup package from a Korean supermarket like hmart and throw some spam in it, yum

Buy some Shin ramyun, cook it with some spam (or pan fry the spam separately), add a slice of American cheese on top of the bowl of ramyun, yum
Soda gets posted? Crickets. Chips get posted? Crickets. Spam gets posted? Raise the pitchforks!!

Sliced thin and pan fried, goes great with pretty much anything.

Nice to just have for emergency. Obviously not healthy but lasts a long time so can use it from time to time when nothing else to eat. Lots of Korean food incorporates spam if you want variety such as budaejigae (army soup)

Best way to eat spam is a bowl of white rice.

You can taste the difference? After pan frying it, I cant taste the difference between regular vs lower sodium SPAM.

Heck yeah. Dice it up, throw in some rice and scallions and you're set.
