I look 2-3x/year to see if FFT has added an AppleTV app, or even controller support for AirPlay, and somehow the answer is still no. Chrono Trigger, however, has been updated with both.
Just a word of warning. Squeenix has an awful track record of releasing iOS ports and then abandoning them, meaning they will eventually stop working when you update your phone. Chrono Trigger was broken for years before they updated it. So was The World Ends with You, and more recently FFIX.
This is the nature of mobile gaming obviously, but at the premium prices they charge you'd think they'd throw out an update or two every few years to keep the games from breaking.
Idk anything about these ports... but FF tactics is the best Final Fantasy game of all time, IMO. Revolutionary playstyle, serious story telling, fun mechanics. A classic that I still enjoy some 20+ years after its release... and to me that says a lot about a game.

Accumulate. It's better at leveling you. Though I've chucked a few rocks in my day.
On Ramza, yell and scream are better yet at leveling you fast.
And don't forget to increase your brave in battle with mediators enough times until it stays permanently at 99 for the rest of the game. Having a bladegrasp that always blocks an attack on all of your party members is just a thing of beauty.

Same on Android and PC. It's not so much the nature of mobile gaming, it's more that square enix is a horrible company when it comes to any ports regardless of system (PC, switch, mobile). Nier was broken on PC until some a third party fixed it. FF XIII on PC still has massive performance issues on PC, until the community patched it themselves. Final Fantasy VII remake has a massive stuttering issues on PC due to the way they handle shader compilation. Pixel remakes have a horrible sized font on most systems that can be easily fixed on PC (switching the japanese font to the English font type) but not on switch or mobile. The list goes on and on. Square enix has just turned to crap for a while now, sadly.
FF IV 3D remake is beautiful on my galaxy s2 tablet, just got it last night and play the first hour. And it will run forever since there is no chance of an OS update 😆
$13.99 for FFVI Pixel Remaster a good price? It's normally $17.99. Not sure what's the previous lowest price.
Edit: iOS and Android versions lack controller support? Come on now…
Ironically the original non-Remastered version of FF VI (which I bought) on Android has bluetooth support...

Ya I prefer the 3D remake over all the "Pixel Remaster" versions of Final Fantasy on Android. All of them have controller support.

Yeah so weird that the old one has controller support but not the new one. Also, I believe the PC Pixel Remaster version has controller support, so why not the mobile ones? Smh @Square
FYI, for those interested in FFT, the mobile port seems to speed the battle animations (maybe 2X) without a way to disable it from what I can see. Some like me may find it very frustrating.
I just bought FFT (iPad version) and for whatever reason the only way to hear the audio at all is through headphones. Despite every other app on my iPad working normally. Still no audio after reinstall. Guess I'm going to request a refund
