It really depends on the bag. Sometimes it's just marketing labels to charge more for a men's version. I have a mountain gear backpack similar to this one in a womens and its nearly identical to my friend's mens version except I got it for half the cost.

Shoulder straps can be a bit more narrow and sometimes it's a little shorter in the back padding area. For backpacking bags, there could also be a difference in the hip belt.

Generally women's ones are fine for men to use as well, mainly they just have thinner straps. Since women have extra stuff on their chest that might get in the way and make thicker straps uncomfortable.
I don't know about this one in particular, but backpacks can be geared towards a gender due to how the frame of the bag is built for more specified weight distribution. Center of gravity is different for women vs men and can make a difference on large backpacks or long hikes.
But as with any pack, get one that fits correctly that you like and call it good.
