Just want to note that the removable surrounds are battery powered (roughly 3-4 hours of playback). If you're fine having to charge them by adding them back to the soundbar ever so often, it's not too bad. But they can't optionally be used as portable speakers.

No, that is JBL 5.1 surround and this is JBL Bar 5.1 with detachable rears

You laugh but it has 3 HDMI 2.1 IN ports which is notable because even $2,000 high end soundbar sets only give you 1.
