Mario Kart 8 technically came out in 2014 but it ended up being the number 1 sold Switch game at $60. Nintendo really has no incentive to lower the price, their games still sell like crazy.

I'm asking an actual question about the definition of price gouging. Since when is it a rule that games have to become cheaper? Publishers will drop prices as demand decreases. DEAD @ you thinking I'm "outraged" about Nintendo price gouging customers. Any business can charge what they desire for their goods but I'm not going to be willfully naive when a billion dollar company keeps reselling the same games they made 10-20 years ago on new systems with no drop in price. It's price gouging and a lack of creativity but that's just my take on it. I'm not a Nintendo fanboy so I don't have rose colored glasses on when it comes to Nintendo but carry on. This conversation is amusing to me.

Oh there's definitely a Nintendo outrage club and you are a certified card carrying member. You guys show up EVERY TIME there's any deals on 1st party games. And for what reason? To tell the rest of us that you're not giving Nintendo money?

I'll tell you a little secret, buddy... NOBODY CARES! You aren't anyone special and nobody knows you. We don't care about your non-opinion. It's one thing to share your opinions about the quality/substance of the games, but it's another to completely derail the post with your guys' constant complaining about Nintendo and their practices. But it bothers me when other people come in here asking for opinions about the games and they have to scroll past giant walls of text from you crybabies.

You don't have a "different opinion" than I do, your "opinion" is a complete tangent to this deal and doesn't belong here because it has nothing to do with the deal or the content of the games within that deal. If you have a problem with the way Nintendo prices their games, take it up with Nintendo but they are not gonna see your incessant complaining on an unrelated deals website. No one mentioned the bright side here. Nintendo 1st party games staying at fairly stable prices means that you can resell your cartridges later and recoup most of your money.
Go and have wonderful experiences like Breath of the Wild then sell it to someone else so they can enjoy it too.
Also the switch is one of the best ways to play great indie games like hades. The steam deck is nice but a switch is a lot more portable.
