    Are these any better than Amazon 4k max or google media player? I bought a new 85 inch QLED tv which will be wall mounted. I want a good streaming player. Can we also install kodi on this ?

    the Pro really isn't big at all, it's maybe 6 x 4 at most and very slim. I have mine behind my mounted tv secured to my mount with velcro strips.

    the shield is a great device (rare price drops are good evidence), but likely overkill if you'll just be streaming, the $20 onn 4k from walmart can do that just fine 1/8 of the price and has a full remote (with tv controls) too - it had a rough launch with crashes, but current fw is stable

    you don't get extra ports like usb or microsd however (can can use otg) and it has low local storage, so if those things matter a shield or shield pro is better buy
