Drill/driver is just a term used for a drill like this that's used for boring, and driving in screws/hardware.
"Impact" drivers are what you're likely referring to. It's understandable.
Any drill can drive in screws. An impact driver tends to be a bit more compact, but it has less torque than a drill/driver in most cases... but the impact driver assists by tapping the bit in the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.
So if you're just needing a single tool to do everything, and you're not gonna use it for anything too hardcore, this will be fine. But I definitely would recommend waiting because Woot! Has given a lot people issues in the past, and, with the Holidays coming up, you might be able to get an even better deal, on an even better drill/driver, from a bit more reputable seller. (Although a lot of people are huge fans of Woot! So much so that they now follow me here, and downvote every comment/post I make.
