16 gauge extension cords should be illegal. They are fine if you know its limitations but dangerous if you don't. Selling an 16 gauge extension cord with 4 outlets is just asking for trouble.

Pictures show running a vacuum and an iron. Wouldn't want to run both!

Being a guy with a lot of 10 and 12ga cords, these do have a spot; like running lights and a fan or two in a shed. Like you stated; fine if you know the limitations.

It would be nice to see listing of specs for that breaker, only mentions thermal feature. Makes me think that can leave you house in flames

EEK!
Careful with that mindset you'll have a lot spend a lot of $ on child support or STD meds...

I snagged this from a website - rings true from experience.

25 Feet Extension Cord
Device Amps: Extension Cord Size: Maximum Wattage (At 110V):
Up To 13 Amps 16 AWG (Light Duty Cord) 1,430 Watts
14 To 15 Amps 14 AWG (Med Duty Cord) 1,650 Watts
16 To 18 Amps 12 AWG (Hvy Duty Cord) 1,980 Watts
19 To 20 Amps 10 AWG (ExHvy Duty Cord) 2,200 Watts

So that would be TOTAL 13amp or 1430 across the 1-4 devices plugged in.

These numbers are for only running things for a few minutes, if you are at these numbers for more than an hour, things might start melting. For anything over 2 hours i would not go more than 70% of these numbers for extension cords. Even less on a hot day.
