Was curious what having Verizon firmware does to this phone?

Also, does anyone know if this should still work with Tracfone? I know it says unlocked...just don't know if the Verizon version screws anything up with using other carriers like Tracfone?

I still have an unlocked 4 XL around here. Would you happen to know if it's that the Verizon model is SIM/carrier unlocked, but the bootloader will be locked (so no rooting / custom ROMs)? I know on mine, both are unlocked (since it's the factory unlocked model). Thanks in advance!

The main concern should be the battery. If it is used/open box not "refurbished", then it may still have the original battery in the phone (Pixel 4 was released on Oct 2019).

Correct, sim unlocked, but never bootloader unlockable with the Verizon version of the Pixel.
