Best buy has the same item but it comes with a "putting mirror." It's the wood addition though. Is there any reason I would want the acrylic instead of the wood?

yea I just ordered the BB one. I think wood is more classy and matches with a room more than acrylic aka plastic.

If you are looking for a good mirror set to go with this mat and are willing to fork out some money, the PuttOut pressure trainer and mirror combo is excellent. Alignment gates come with the mirror and the trainer will return the ball to you the same distance the ball would have gone had you missed the putt. However I will say that the pressure trainer will not work well this this unless you are putting it flat before the mat raises up.
