The reason you want different sizes is for confined spaces. It's handy having smaller sizes for tight spots.

However, almost every time I am using pipe wrenches, I have to use two, one to hold the static pipe and the other to move the fitting I'm trying to break loose. Having unequal lengths is not a good thing for that occasion.

Not a fan of soft coatings on pipe wrenches. When you get nasty stuff on the porous absorbent surface, it's not going to be easy to make sanitary for the next use.

For somebody who needs a pipe wrench now, possibly a deal. If you plan on using them a few times, get aluminum wrenches and a pair equal length. If you need shorter sizes, buy them in pairs. Very few things should be taken apart without a support wrench. You will end up loosening the wrong fitting.

I'm sure they're similar quality to those from Harbor Freight which are all you need as a homeowner.

I was very tempted on this deal, but the set has sold in the range of $20-$35 for years, and about $17 was an all-time low on Amazon. So, yeah, no time machine, but I passed - was already at PayPal checkout but passed. I do need a pipe wrench, and will pick up one (not four) when it makes more sense. I'm trying to scale back unnecessary purchases, for a while. It is a good deal.

Just under 16 bucks for 4 wrenches, aka 4 bucks a piece. Thanks OP, in for a set, I have used Grizzly tools in the past and have always found them to work well.
