is this bootloader unlocked? Lots of custom kernels fix the issues that plague this phone.

i have read up on xda and it requires sim unlock and bootloader unlock.

I am not sure how is this phone still being sold if this has reception issues. That's the most important thing for a supposed *cellphone*. Was about to pull the trigger b/c I really like the design( yup, its subjective) but can't accept reception issues.
I have an old Pixel 3XL that after A12 update also started having reception issues (calls going directly to VM I just thought it was just an old phone doing things though. The solution there is also to switch ON/OFF airplane mode or just restart. Now, it seems like there could be something in their firmware causing it)

When putting in my phone number and SSN to upgrade a device on my line I'm getting "Please try again we had an issue, but it should be fixed now." Reaching out to T-Mobile, they told me it's because I have a military discount on my line and if I remove it, I'll be able to move forward through the upgrade process. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if this was true for you. Thanks.

Can you still do the chat on Twitter to get the phone unlocked immediately? I have been a t mobile customer for the last 5 years and they unlocked my pixel 2xl when I bought it via their Twitter help. I believe around April 2020.
