The only problem with these is there is NO support for the seat. It attaches to the gunnels but since it's inflatable, when you lean back it just pulls the gunnels in. You can lay all the way back to a reclining position. So it's a great ab/core workout but not what I wanted.
Actually a good product. Used this as my first kayak. Then upgraded to a hard body fishing kayak once I realized how much I liked it. Nice thing is I made money off the original purchase! Buy this if you're new to kayaking. Try it out for the month, sell if you don't like. If you do, use it til you're ready to upgrade. It's a good deal.
I love mine. Makes getting out on the water so accessible.

I'm 5'9 and 180 and I don't know what these people are talking about it hurting your back etc. maybe they are bigger than me.

I used these on Ladybird lake all through 2021 until the seams ripped from the heat and overpumping. At $69 when I bought, they were an insane deal. I just bought 4 more, it was my fastest purchase on Amazon ever I literally laughed out loud it was like 10-12 seconds from when I saw the deal until when my order was confirmed.

I bought two during covid, paid close to $100 but it was worth it for all the use I've gotten. I do not take very good care of them either and they've both held up.

As others have said backrest isn't the most comfortable but I think its pretty standard to most kayaks. If you're tall you'll have issues with the room for your feet. I'm 5'4" and I think its enough room but my 6" friend has to take her feet out and leave them on top for most of our trips.

Anyone in the Bay Area wants one, ping me. I got one a few years back, recently used it for the 1st time and just didn't like the experience... albeit I have a slight phobia about being under water, but for some reasons I felt a lot more uncomfortable using this kayak than using a SUP, which I got on for the 1st on the same weekend I used the kayak and that I really really enjoyed... go figure...

This is actually a really great kayak. Its ultra portable, pumps up quickly, and moves and manouvers really pretty well for an inflatable. I agree with comments on the back support, but it really hasn't bothered me for a couple hour paddle. The only thing that actually limits my use is that it's a pain in the ace to completely dry out. There are some tricks, but there's no real easy way to drain standing water that absolutely will get in the kayak. Still, it's such an easy way to get on the lake if you have the patience to dry it afterward.

I popped mine quite a few times due to using an electric pump plugged into my car. Be mindful of the PSI setting on your electric pump. Get a liquid repair kit (permanent, takes an overnight to dry) and the emergency patch kit and always have those on hand on any road trip.

I've since switched to folding kayaks since. They take up the same space but are way lighter. Just costs $$$.

Nice to see some things coming back to reality. Never understood the sheeple who just pay the "Need it Now" price. Even if you have the $$$ it's just poor economic form.

You mean in the middle of winter (not to mention at the start of COVID) when these were being cleared out because kayaking isn't really huge in January? "ItS iFlAtIoN!"

In this case inflation is a good thing, otherwise you are sinking.

Maybe get one of those crazy creek chairs? They're like two padded things with webbing to keep you from going too far back...

I have the two person version, love the thing. Going to probably grab one of these for my daughter so we can all head out on the water. We don't have space to store hard kayaks and these things store and travel really well.

These are the "Ozark Trail" of kayaks. Cheap, not comparable to the good stuff, but decent enough to do the job and *way* better than nothing. If you're just up for a casual paddle around your local pond or lake these are great!

I noticed the same thing with my inflatable kayak... It's just not rigid enough to be comfortable. Felt like I was laying down while sitting up.

Same here, use these all summer - third summer already. We go 1hr going and 1hr coming back on steady water and never an issue with our back or abs. Perhaps pump a bit more air than recommended. Though after all summer, abs do more tone so it's a side benefit. Perhaps a better kayak is a world of difference, but it's comfortable and easy riding for us who don't know any better and at this price, would recommend buying if you don't yet want to invest in a better one to know if it's something for you. These are like the cruiser bikes of the kayak world.

We got these as the local place that rents the hard ones, where the back comes up, was digging into our backs that made it very painful.

5' 9" 170 64yo. Glad I read the comments, I need back support and a Doxie seat. I have been looking for something for the lake, no boat and I want to cross the slough to hunt arrowheads.
