this is a great brand normally but I researched it and the ones they sell at target aren't the same as they sell at rei and other sell camping retailers. the target ones are trash apparently
I have a Sierra Designs Wyatt Earp bag I have been sleeping in 8 months a year every year for the last 26 years. No lie. I bought the bag from REI for $90 on sale back in 1996 when I was 25 years old. I am now 51. It's the only blanket/comforter I've ever used for half my life. I also don't have a bed. I sleep on a loveseat with it. The loveseat is 15 years old. The bag gets washed in a washer machine on a heavy duty cycle 6 or 7 times a year. So it's been through the washer at least 160-170 times. It only has wear around the drawstring hood and maybe a half dozen small holes in it. The holes were made by the agitator of the washing machine. The ripstop weave keeps the holes small. No other damage really or wear. Can't see myself living without it. It's probably the most important possession I own .

My wife and I got REI camp blankets as a gift one year. They're nice to have, especially when car-camping. But I would never pay the $100 that REI charges for them. I'd get something like this instead.

I have the Jamestown double. Its amazing for car camping. Very comfy and warm down to the 30's. But, it is bulky.

Well, yeah. Ya get what ya pay for. Target customers and how they "camp" isn't going to be how REI'er do outdoors.

There's no sense spending like the latter if you're the former. Geez, I'd bet more Target purchases don't make it past a slumber party or two.

I bet I could use the big one to throw over my inflatable hot tub in the winter.

Sierra Designs is to target what Ozark Trail is to Walmart.

Don't buy camping gear at a either place if you expect it to last more than a couple seasons. These are manufactured by entirely different companies than the same brand that you'd see at other stores such as REI. Target just made a deal to slap a brand on some cheap gear.
