All 3 companies offer vacuums with similar levels of power (measured in suction in terms of AW) and battery life (measured in runtime length) for each price bracket. In fact one might argue LG has the best battery life of the three as some of their models come with 2 swappable batteries where they are usually sold separately for Dyson and Samsung.

Had to deal with then 2x this year.. once took 2 day 2 10 min phone calls check was in the mail a couple days later. 2nd issue. Return label sent out was fix and sent back within 5 days. Got smasher in shipping (FedEx fault) they replaced in a day later. Over night
I have Dyson v10 and samsung bespoke jet I prefer bespoke jet by far
Same - it sucks. I do regret buying this.
After a year of using this terrible vacuum was enough for me to trash it and go and buy the more expensive Dyson.
It runs HOT! It has NO suction. The filtration is TERRIBLE. And worse of all it's LOUD!
Do not believe anyone who tells you that these are in any way comparable to Dyson. They are fooling themselves into thinking that what they have is good enough. Because at the end of the day Dyson is still the undisputed king of stick vacuums.
Also longevity wise. With a Dyson there is a huge 3rd party base where you can literally buy every single piece needed to refurbish it. We have a V8 that we just replaced it's second battery and even the dust canister. The parts were so cheap! Motor is still going strong after 5 years! Almost like getting new vacuum.
I can almost guarantee you that the LG and the Samsung in 5 years will be absolute vapor ware/trash. Just look at their track record for their major appliances. After a couple years of release it becomes impossible to find replacement parts for them because they plan pure obsolesce by ensuring replacement parts are not available.
So true. Anyone else is just fooling themselves into thinking they've got a more superior product for cheaper or a "Dyson" alternative.
They just can't admit it when they are wrong

There's a suspicious amount of LG hate and Dyson love in this thread, but I have seen vacuum threads where people hate Dyson by love their LG, so who knows. All I can say is I've had no big problems with the LG Cordzero A9 refurb after 14 or 15 months. Just annoying that to empty the dirt/dust compartment you often have to use your hand and pull out all the crap you just vacuumed up to empty it out, certainly not the best design. No issues with suction power, but using it only on hard floors. The two included batteries are still in top shape and run for a long time. I don't think I'll have to use the 2 year warranty, still got about 7 or 8 months.
I remember Vacuum Wars was a great youtube channel to learn about the pros and cons of any vac you might be thinking about buying. I'm not sure if a refurbished LG CordZero A9 for $240 is still a great deal in late 2022, since it's been that price for a couple of years now, but not a bad value.

If you run it on turbo mode (boosted suction) the manual states the battery lasts about 6 minutes. Much longer on normal mode. Given the type of battery being "refurbished" should not make a difference in battery life compared to new

Anyone find anything better than just getting a small bin to dump them in?
