Had these alongside the fence on the middle beam. The back yard one gets hit with sunlight pretty much the entire day. The brown plastic housing warped and ended up breaking the glass on the solar cell. Some popped off of the sticky mount because of the warping. They still light up but they look funny now. The side ones still look ok.
Probably yes. Also expect a couple of them to be DOA as well or not last as long.
Will these last one season like all the other ones too?

Bought a few months ago from SD. Two were cool daylight temperature (6500K), while most were warm light (3000k).

Also, several dead already. So, don't set your expectations too high.

Which one are you talking about?
Just hit up Amazon for LED landscape lights. Then find a waterproof driver that is the same voltage and has enough wattage to power the lights.
I have 5, 3W landscape lights around my house and they light up the entire front of my home. I bought a combination day/night driver that is waterproof for $40. Everything automatically comes on at night and I neve even think about them.

Can these be opened up to change the rechargeable batteries when they go bad?

Not worth it, the plastic is not made to withstand UV so the whole thing will warp and break. Its really worth to pay $$$ and get a quality one. I would buy one if Ring makes it, their solar lights have been working flawlessly for the past 5 years, and the battery still holds decent charge.

Solar lights are just garbage. Get some nice outdoor landscape lights, power supply and a waterproof box. You'll have amazing lights that last for a decade and spend less than $100
I agree with the sentiment but if you are spending less then $100 you probably don't have a very good looking setup. A decent quality outdoor rated wire itself costs half that for a average install.

I had a ton of 18awg pvc jacketed wire around. There are lots of kits on superbrightleds .com for close to that without a driver. If you don't have any electrical supplies around, it will cost more. But I also buy everything on clearance just like you guys.

All the YouTube guys online seem to use huge expensive wire for a tiny bit of current. All depends kn the project and how heavy duty you want to go for wire you bury.

Bought these last time they were offered.

You will be LUCKY to get one season out of them. Small and cheap. Not any usable amount of light. The screws they use to attach to steps are very shallow, the screws back out, and then you have the lights falling off left and right.

So.... 32 screw holes in your deck for lights that might last a season and then need replaced leaving those holes everywhere.

Hard pass on these :/
Suspect these are like most cheaply manufactured items with little to no QA before going out the door, they will fail quickly up front but will likely last if they make past the break in period.
In my case, the pack included more than needed and when replaced the one weak one, used the same holes.
