You can buy one size up like many suggest, but the better option is to just ignore the US sizing altogether. They suck, period. Instead, find a pair of your shoes that feel comfortable (Nike, Adidas, doesn't matter). Look inside at the sizing label. You should see multiple numbers and multiple sizing standards. Examples could be things like "US," "UK," "EU," etc...

Ideally, you want to find the "EU" size. For an adult male, it should normally be in the 40's. Then when you buy shoes, just look for the international size chart for that brand/gender and find what US size for that brand matches your "EU" size (here is the chart for Adidas [adidas.com]).

I'm a US 11.5 in some brands. In others, I'm a US 12 or 12.5. I'm always the same EU size though. I stopped using US sizing to pick shoes a couple years ago and it made me much more confident to buy shoes on-line without trying them first.

Good luck, my man!
Calm down Dwight Schrute. The eBay listing itself has the one size up conversion. Like it's on the same page.

This is great info and I agree that using UK measurements are much better than US sizing. Out of curiosity, is width of the show differ at all when buying women's shoes? I always thought women's shoes tended to be narrower than mens.
