EVGA has instant rebates on their B-stock items including power supplies and GPUs. I looked online and found associate codes that dropped the GPU price down 3% and the PS price down 10%. Hopefully it doesnt mess up my order

Here are some sample deals that I thought were good.
$30 -EVGA 600 GD, 80+ GOLD 600W, Power Supply 100-GD-0600-R3
$35 -EVGA 650 BQ, 80+ BRONZE 650W, Semi Modular, Power Supply 110-BQ-0650-RX
$45 -EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GT, 80 Plus Gold 750W, Fully Modular OOS
$440 - EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA GAMING

I ordered the 3070xc, and the SuperNova750GT. I know the 40 series is coming out. But it looks like the $900, 4080 8GB is the new 70 series.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

CAUTION: Be careful when shopping EVGA B-stock PSUs. If the PSU you're looking at shows a listing of the included cables, then the cable set is usually short compared to the retail version of that PSU. For instance, the $45 SuperNOVA 750 GT that the OP bought only includes 1 8-pin EPS/CPU cable and only 1 SATA cable whereas the retail/new version includes 2 of each. Before you buy, check your motherboard to see how many 8-pin EPS/CPU cables it requires. If it only needs one, then you're all set.

From my experience, if the included cables are not specifically listed, then you'll get the full cable set.

Warning: Do not use cables from another PSU unless they're from the same make and model of PSU. For instance, if sometime later, you need an additional SATA cable, do not try using one from a Corsair PSU. There is NO industry standard for PSU cables and the pin configurations vary between manufacturers and even between models of the same manufacturer.
I'll miss your video cards, EVGA. Godspeed and I hope you come out a better company after this Nvidia fiasco.
While you bad mouth the other manufactures who work with Nvidia, you are aware that Nvidia undercuts all the companies they do business with, right? All these other companies have to spend money on R&D to push the limits of the Nvidia GPU. Then Nvidia comes in and undercuts them by several hundred dollars. That's why EVGA left them. All the other's confirm the same info. At the rate Nvidia is going, they are going to push other companies away. If enough leave, AMD or Intel will gladly move forward and clearly have the supply chain advantage.
Nvidia can NOT make enough product to supply the market alone! Nvidia needs the others. If you're going to only buy the product from Nvidia, it might be out of reach (monetarily speaking) in the near future.
As to the Power supplies, I've only had one EVGA go and it was quickly replaced. Of course that was NOT a "B" product. Make sure you plan to use it and not buy as a back up as this might not be wise to use a "B" PS as it might be out of warranty by the time you need it. EVGA has some awesome warranties on their "A" list PS's. One of my last ones was for about 13 years or so. Peace

according to this Yes
But none of these are ATX 3.0 / PCIe 5

your a prefect example why I buy B stock, you'll return a $130 PS because of something that means nothing to me and I'll re purchase it for 60% off.
Good deal
Don't know where you dug up that $130 price, but you're off. If the potential coil whine means nothing to you, and you're happy with a 12 month B-stock warranty rather than 10 year retail, go for it!

Yeah I was looking at the 850 price, the point was people return items that are fine for others.

To me most PS or MB or video cards fail in that first year or their good for a very long time. HDD are a different story they can fail 2 or 3 years in.

The PC I'm working on now will sit about 4 feet away and you may be right it could possibly be bad and the noise drive me nuts. If thats the case I'll know right away and return it.

I'm currently using an EVGA 650 GT that I'm not sure will be enough for a I5 12600 and 3070 build so I'm willing to give the B stock 850 G6 a shot.

I've installed quite a few of these 650-850 units all had awful coil whine. But they have all held up

Poor power supply, broke down in 9 months; it caused damage to my PC mother board. Cost about $15 to ship back to EVGA, and the return warranty web processtakes a lot of time and hassel. More than that, they rejected the power supply warranty based on the reason that it was damaged after you shipped it to them! watchout for buying EGVA pain and suffering!

Are you sure you haven't confused EVGA for Newegg? FWIW, EVGA generally seems to be one of the more reputably run brands in terms of taking care of customers.

I don't know about the rest of the members, but after one captcha, the requirement to create the account. Then activate the account, sign in, two more captchas, log out (because it doesn't see anything in the cart), find the tab with the cart, sign in, check the shipping, I wasn't remotely interested in doing any more business with EVGA.

Too bad about the EVGA employees who built a great company, only to have the CEO decide he'd burn it all down when he wanted to (semi) retire.

So easy to create an account! Why are you complaining?!
Also, the employees' did not build a great company, the CEO did. They help to keep it great! You are nothing but gloom and doom! Peace

Seems this went over pretty well, I went back and checked and 90% of the Good $45 - $80 PS are gone now. there is still a couple of deals there, but mostly gone after 5 days.

Good to see the community supporting them after the Nvidia announcement.

I went through all that, had my credit card text an auth code to confirm the transaction, then EVGA said 'there was a problem with your card'. I wasn't going through that all again with another card. Sorry EVGA your payment auth system is terrible.

I ended up (on pure luck) buying a new 850 watt Supernova G7 on the EVGA site last night for $110 - 10% partpicker code about an hour before the price went up to $170. My first EVGA psu so hopefully it's as good as the reviews say it is.
