Other models available too: https://www.homedepot.com/b/Kitch...torder=asc

B&M prices may well be even lower if you can find them.

Previous deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/15984478 which has some whining and complaining about Glacier Bay faucets.

Previius deal is actually a different model, but for all intents and purposes, reliability is probably about the same.

Bought one of these for a recent kitchen upgrade. As soon as the wife saw it she was not happy. Said it looks very cheap. Returned it and bought a Kraus that was 3x more expensive. No complaints from the wife now.

You probably made the mistake of telling your wife the price. I bet she only thought it looked cheap because it was cheap. Tsk tsk! I learned that lesson long ago.

I don't see a huge difference between these and other brands at 5x the price. I realized that even the expensive ones expose a black plastic pipe when you pull out the head. That just leaves the cartridge as the only other possible significant difference, and that's a $10 consumable. If HD can sell these faucets for $40 and make a profit, that tells you all you need to know. The world is full of people who think that paying more always gets you more even when they can't see what it is.

Decent quality but beware, GB faucets are the only ones at HD where some of the handles go 45° backward and forward instead of 90° forward. This will be important if your faucet is close to your backsplash. I installed one with the same style handle and 45° backward hit my backsplash. Had to take it all out and go with Moen.

The only option I see is to add $35 for shipping it. Am I doing something wrong other than living in the wrong area?

been using this for 3 years, no issues and the install is easier than Moen/Kohler. Was a bit skeptical on that install, figured it would start slipping and rotating and I would have to re-tighten all the time, but it's lasted lol.

I see all these positive glacier bay posts and can tell you that's definitely not my experience. I've had one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen. Kitchen handle broke after 2 months where it keeps spinning past the stop point. The bathroom one started dripping slowly (doesn't shut off all the way) after about 6 months. I ended up biting the bullet and replaced them both with Koehler and never had issues again.

Btw, everything about the Koehlers is more impressive. The weight, the build quality, the form factors… all of it. Glacier bay is cheap crap.

I have 7 Glacier Bay kitchen faucets across a bunch of property I maintain, but it's this model: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Glaci.../309148341
I had one that went for 5 years before the button on the sprayer broke. Home Depot sent me a new sprayer head for free when I called them. That sold me and I started putting these in every kitchen. I have had no problems with them. The longest lasting one went 9 years and the shortest lasting one went 5 years. They look decent and I don't recall there even being a logo on the faucet, so no one even knows it's a Glacier Bay. It's so reliable I have two of them in my own home now; one in the kitchen and one in the laundry room.

It's performed better for me than Moen kitchen faucets, so now I only go Moen in showers/tubs because they have the best shower valves that are easy to replace and easy to service.

For those that don't have them available in store, is there a way around the $8.99 delivery fee?

Anyone know how to remove the flow rate regulator on these? Purchased for in laws but the water pressure is lower than their old one, replaced old one because of a faulty handle

delta, moen, or kohler, or bust
delta per my experience older plumber clients that which includes new home developments for all propertis. Also upgrade repair existing properties.

Its what they told me, their knowledge, experience, opinion based on over 50yrs experience plus their dads were also plumbers. Cant say for sure this is 100% true.

I know moen is next, per my research on web. Maybe have to pull the one your considering purchasing to to check if moen and others brands are100% copper equivalent from their respective boxes to compare.

Glacier is hd brand and i dont know it i who the manufacture is. Would thing would be ok if, wipe off after use. Avoid slow dripping on same..use silicone spray can disperses water from time to time. Watch for pitting under chrome. This should help 100%+ avoiding any calcium build up.

Finally dont use soft scrub harsh cleaners on chome that could scratch as i dont know how thick the chome plating used.
