I have monitored for the past year and the Cyberpunk color/ theme has never been on sale. I have seen black & white ones go on sale with or without dock unlike this complete package w the dock this time.

Maybe the wording of my reply was ambiguous. I am not arguing that for high quality mice, wireless transmission is necessarily equal/faster than wired transmission. I am arguing that wireless mouse transmissions matches wired mouse transmission to such a point that the minute difference is meaningless for humans. Professional e-sports players are incentivized to make any sort of changes to their gear/play to gain any sort of advantage. Since I'm not very inclined to start arguments in a Slickdeals post with peer-reviewed data, I assumed the fact that e-sports players use both wired/wireless mice was enough data for the average power user.

But since you asked: these 2 videos below try to apply the scientific method to a tee. Their results show that some wireless mice have even lower latency than their wired counterparts. The bottom line is to use whichever mouse feels the best.

These broke after around 1 year for me...the laser stopped responding and I'm not one to abuse my gaming mice.

Ya its worth only if they like the yellow cyberpunk theme. I wouldn't buy it just for it being viper ultimate since i have seen the black around this price many times and honestly there are better gaming and productivity mice out there . I bought Razer Orochi v2 for gaming & mx master for productivity. Unsure if this one will trump them but time will tell. Atleast this one will always sit on my desk charged & ready to go. I bought this purely for looks.

I heard they have fixed some aspects of it now, hopefully another year and it would be good enough to play. Its in my list but holdng out for all bug fixes. Gotta get thru elden ring first anyway..

I have the black normal version and it's been a great mouse. It's the older generation of gaming wireless mice so it's a tad heavy but I prefer this to the featherweight cheap feel of the latest generation. The dock is also not included in the current generation mouse, I think this is great mouse for wireless and has very low latency.

Great mouse, and I love the dock. It's nice that the dock is interchangeable with other razer mice from that gen as well. I do think quality control varies and after a while, the clicks can feel a little mushy on the Viper Ultimate. But you'll be hard to pressed to find a better bang for your buck than this if you are looking for a solid wireless mouse. It doesn't even bother me that much that this is micro USB instead of USB-C, since I just drop it on the dock overnight to charge between sessions/uses.

From what I hear, Cyberpunk is pretty good now as they fixed a lot of the issues. I bought it recently on PC and plan to play it once I get a graphics card. Waiting for that GPU apocalypse!

I played and beat it recently and it was above average I would say (old school PC GAMER rating of 74% I would say), but still quite a few bugs still that I experienced throughout the playthrough, none were game breaking but really detracted from the experience when they occurred. Beautiful looking game however (1440p at around 80-100 FPS on mostly ultra settings for me), 3070 or better highly recommended; I do encourage most to play this game especially since it can be purchased quite cheap these days.
